TRACY MILLER (b. 1966 in Storm Lake, IA) received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1989 from The University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA, and received her Master of Fine Arts degree in 1993 from The University of California at Berkeley, Berkeley, CA. Miller also spent 1992 studying at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Skowhegan, ME.

Her still life paintings have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions which include the American University Museum, Washington DC; Feature Inc., New York, NY; Hampden Gallery, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA; Work Gallery, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI; Islip Art Museum, East Islip, NY; and The University Art Museum, UC Berkeley, Berkeley, CA.

She is the recipient of the Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship; the Pollack-Krasner Award; the Rutsch Award; the Hassam, Speicher, Betts and Symons Purchase Funds, American Academy of Arts and Letters; the Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation Space Grant; the Elizabeth Foundation Award; the Margaret Calder Hayes/Tevis Jacobs/UAM Council Founder’s Prize, UC Berkeley; the Binney & Smith Art Grant, the Marian Hahn Simpson Fellowship, UC Berkeley/Matching Fellowship through Skowhegan; the James Phelan Scholarship, UC Berkeley; and the Jack & Gertrude Murphy Fellowship, The San Francisco Foundation.

Her work is included in the collections of Clifford Chance, Daum Museum of Contemporary Art, Deutsche Bank, John Simon Guggenheim Foundation, Microsoft, SEI/West Family Collection, and Sioux City Art Center.

Miller lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
