The Graphische Sammlung ETH Zürich is one of the most important collections of prints and drawings in Switzerland, comprising over 160,000 works ranging from the 15th century to contemporary production.

For the exhibition at MASI, the Director of the collection Linda Schädler has conceived an exhibition project that will allow the public to admire, for the first time together, the most important nuclei of the collection among which masterpieces by artists such as Albrecht Dürer, Lucas van Leyden, Elisabetta Sirani, Hendrik Goltzius, Rembrandt van Rijn, Maria Sibylla Merian, Francisco de Goya, Giovanni Battista Piranesi, Käthe Kollwitz, Louise Bourgeois, Pablo Picasso, Edvard Munch, Miriam Cahn and many others.

In addition to tracing a fascinating journey through the history of art over the last six centuries, the exhibition will allow the public to have an in-depth overview of the various engraving and drawing techniques used and perfected by artists over the centuries.
