BRIAN ALFRED | FC BAYERN MUNICH PANEL

In conjunction with Brian Alfred's current exhibition, Plus Ultra, the gallery was pleased to host a panel discussion in partnership with FC Bayern Munich. The discussion was moderated by representatives of FC Bayern, and touched on the importance of youth football programs and finding community in sport and art. Alfred shared how his lifelong love of sports inspired him to bring his current exhibition Plus Ultra together.

As a longtime player and co-founder of Triboro United Soccer Club, a non-profit youth soccer club based in Brooklyn and Queens that provides over 25% of players with scholarships to play soccer, Alfred is deeply familiar with the culture and rituals of the game.
